The Town of Cleveland is located in the north central portion of Chippewa County, Wisconsin. The landscape varies from rolling farmland in the southeastern part to hilly, forested glacial moraine in the northern part. There are no incorporated towns or villages within its borders, but the City of Cornell is adjacent on the east side, and the city of Bloomer a few miles to the west. The township is bordered by the Chippewa River on the east, and has numerous small streams, wetlands, and lakes, as well as 7,000 acres of County Forest that is undeveloped and open to the public. It’s a popular place for all types of outdoor recreation, from hunting and fishing to cross-country skiing, ATV trail-riding, horseback riding, and snowmobiling. The Town Hall, shop, and solid waste/recycling facility are located at 20470 State Highway 64, Cornell, WI. 54732
