Where do I:

Pay my taxes?
Property tax statements are mailed out in December and June. Full payment or first installment is due by January 31, payable to Treasurer, Town of Cleveland, 21985 State Highway 64, Cornell, WI 54732.
The second installment is due by July 31, payable to Chippewa County Treasurer and sent to Court House, 711 N. Bridge St., Chippewa Falls, WI 54729.
January payments may be paid in person by appointment only; call 715-239-3129 or email raatzjoycea@centurytel.net. Cash is NOT accepted.

Take recycling and solid waste?
Township residents may dispose of solid waste at the recycling building, 20470 State Highway 64, Cornell, after purchasing a punch card ($20 for 15 punches) from the attendant on site.
The recycling and solid waste disposal facility is open every Saturday from 10 am to 3 pm.
Town residents may deposit ordinary recycling materials (glass, cans, plastic bottles, cardboard, paper) at the recycling building free of charge.
Large items that do not fit in the dumpster may be accepted for an additional charge.

Purchase a dog license?
Dog licenses are required for all dogs more than 5 months old, and proof of rabies vaccination is required in order to obtain a dog license.
The application form may be downloaded from the “Forms” page, or contact the Town Treasurer to obtain a form.
